Virgin Swimmers:

• Melanie Sobey
  Mel started training in Dec 2010 and finished closely behind her coach. Yes the coach needs to do more training.
• Shannon Zietsman
  With very little training she completed her first Midmar in style.
• Christopher Webster
  Is our youngest swimmer to join the Candy Bubbles Team he is 11 years old.
• Julia Webster.
  In completing Midmar Julia qualified for a special medal because she completed the Comrades’ marathon in the same year.

Four of the team members from 2010 improved the times while Kimberly did finish slower but she swam with Christopher and was sick on the day.

A BIG thank you to Julia & Bryan (AKA Harry) Webster for sponsoring the celebration dinner on the Saturday night. The team then donated the cost of their meals and more. We raised R4000.00 which we donated to the Wahoo developmentally program.

Thanks to everyone who made this a splashing success.
